Guillaume Cocken

One of the B-Hive 2012 winners, Guillaume Cocken, has been in touch with a few thoughts on his experience. He entered in 2011, didn't get short listed, then entered again in 2012 and won a series of placements that ultimately saw him secure a permanent job at Chapter. If you're still in two minds whether to enter B-Hive you should read this. Now.

"B-Hive offered me a great experience. It gave me the opportunity to work on an interesting brief and pitch to major industry figures.

I was lucky enough to win both the advertising and digital aspects of the competition in 2012, resulting in placements at various agencies, one of which was at Chapter.

During my time at Chapter, I expressed an interest in switching from creative to client services. At the end of my B-Hive placement the directors offered me an internship to see how I performed in that role... Subsequently, a month later, I was offered a full-time position as an Account Executive.

It has been the best possible start to my career."

And if you'd like to hear first hand about Guillaume's experience, we also recorded this on the 2012 awards evening. It's phone footage so don't expect BAFTA quality!
